Racket Relay Terms of Service

Effective date: October 21, 2026

1. Who we are

Racket Relay LLC, an Illinois limited liability company, provides racket stringing, handle wrapping, and related services. These terms govern your use of our website and the services you purchase from us. “We,” “us,” and “our” mean Racket Relay LLC; “you” means the customer or website user.

Your service agreement is with Racket Relay LLC. Contact us at support@racketrelay.com.

2. Agreeing to these terms

When placing an order, you agree to these terms and the Cancellation and Refund Policy presented before checkout. You must have legal capacity to enter into the agreement and authority to authorize payment and work on the racket. If you act for another person or organization, you must have the necessary authority to do so and provide their information.

3. Your account

Provide accurate information, keep your account access secure, and tell us promptly about suspected unauthorized use. You are responsible for orders you place or authorize. A member's request does not become an order on another person's account until the account holder approves it and payment is completed.

Keep guest-order links private: anyone holding a link may be able to access and manage that order, including viewing its delivery address. Contact us if a link is compromised.

4. Orders and changes

We show the service, selected options, total price, taxes, and other charges before payment. Check your order and delivery details before confirming. The order confirmation records the agreed service.

You may change your string selection until the racket is checked in for service. We explain any price adjustment and its settlement before you confirm the change. We obtain your agreement before substituting a different string or materially changing the agreed work.

Our string suggestions are general guidance about feel and durability, not medical advice or a promise of a particular playing result.

5. Delivery and service

Follow the packing, sending, collection, and return instructions for your order. Tell us before including accessories or other items you want returned. Any sending deadline and consequences of missing it are disclosed before checkout.

Return dates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed. We will notify you if the estimate changes. Contact us if your racket does not arrive as expected.

If a racket is damaged, unsafe to service, or does not match the order, we stop and contact you. If the issue cannot be resolved, we return it without completing the service. The Cancellation and Refund Policy governs the financial outcome, subject to applicable legal rights.

6. Cancellations and refunds

The Cancellation and Refund Policy presented before checkout forms part of your agreement. It explains cancellation eligibility, permitted deductions, and the method and timing of refunds or other settlements, including any location-specific provisions applicable to your order.

To request cancellation or assistance, email support@racketrelay.com with your order number. Nothing in that policy limits a refund or other remedy required by applicable law.

7. As Ordered guarantee

If your racket stringing or handle wrapping does not match your order, tell us within seven days after the racket is returned to you. We will correct the affected work at no charge, including necessary shipping.

This guarantee does not promise a particular feel, playing result, or string lifespan. Natural changes in string tension do not alone establish that the work was performed incorrectly. The guarantee is additional to rights and remedies that cannot lawfully be restricted.

8. Loss or damage

We take reasonable care of your racket and handle claims for covered loss or damage during the service, including transport arranged by us. Contact Racket Relay directly about a claim.

Subject to section 11, our liability for covered loss of or damage to a racket is limited to $200 per racket. Compensation is based on reasonable repair cost or, if lost or not reasonably repairable, the cost of a comparable replacement taking condition into account, up to that limit. Approved compensation is paid in money.

Report damage within 30 days after return and a missing racket promptly after its expected return date. If damage could not reasonably have been discovered within 30 days, report it promptly after discovery. These reporting periods do not remove rights or shorten deadlines that applicable law does not permit us to restrict.

Provide your order number, a description of the issue, and photographs where available. Retain relevant packaging while the claim is reviewed. We may request information reasonably needed to assess the claim.

We do not compensate for pre-existing damage, ordinary wear, normal string-tension loss, or damage attributable solely to a pre-existing weakness. These exclusions do not excuse damage caused by our or our service provider's failure to exercise reasonable care.

Collectible, customized, or sentimental value does not increase the limit. Any different limit must be expressly agreed in writing before you send or hand over the racket; declaring a higher value alone does not change it.

9. Privacy, communications, and account closure

Our separate Privacy Notice explains how we handle personal information and how to exercise available privacy rights. We send communications needed to manage your orders. You may unsubscribe from reminders, surveys, and optional marketing through the links provided.

You may request account deletion through your account settings or by emailing us. Account closure does not itself cancel a paid order, extinguish an amount owed, or remove an existing claim or remedy. Personal-information requests are handled as described in the Privacy Notice and required by applicable law.

10. Using the website

Do not submit fraudulent orders, access another person's account without permission, interfere with the service, or use automated scraping without our authorization. We may restrict or close an account for misuse or a breach of these terms. This does not remove our obligations concerning rackets, amounts owed, or valid claims.

Our branding and website content belong to us or the relevant owners or licensors. Use of the service does not transfer ownership of that content to you.

11. Liability and your legal rights

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from an order is limited to the amount paid for it plus the applicable loss-or-damage limit for each affected racket. Multiple claims for the same racket do not multiply its limit. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, such as losses arising from a missed match, to the extent permitted by law.

These limits do not reduce refunds or corrective services expressly promised under this agreement. They do not exclude or restrict liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability or consumer right that applicable law does not permit us to exclude or restrict.

12. Disputes and changes

Contact support@racketrelay.com about a dispute so we can try to resolve it. This does not prevent you from exercising legal rights or suspend a legal deadline.

Illinois law governs these terms, subject to any other jurisdiction's protections that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.

An order remains governed by the terms and Cancellation and Refund Policy accepted for it, together with any later changes you and we agree to. Updated terms apply to future orders from their effective date. We will notify you of material changes affecting ongoing account use and obtain further agreement where required.

13. The agreement

These terms, the Cancellation and Refund Policy presented before checkout, any additional service terms expressly accepted, and the agreed order details form your agreement. Order details control the selected service, price, and arrangements; the Cancellation and Refund Policy controls cancellation and refund matters; additional service terms control their expressly identified subject matter. These terms otherwise apply.

If a provision is held unenforceable, the rest continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. A delay in exercising a right does not by itself waive it.

Send questions and contractual notices to support@racketrelay.com. We send order notices to the email address you provided. This does not replace legally required methods of serving legal proceedings.
